Speculative Buy

$0.135

56.98%

Bubs Australia's FY26 results were broadly consistent with guidance, Bell Potter observes. Revenue rose 9% to $111.9m, while the reported earnings (EBITDA) loss of -$1.8m included significant US freight, tariff and regulatory costs, the analysts explain.

The broker suggests underlying earnings of $5.3m provide a stronger baseline for FY27 as US shipment momentum improves.

FY27 and FY28 earnings forecasts rise by 35% and 2%, respectively. A recovering margin is expected along with potential permanent US market access to materially de-risk the outlook.

The target price is unchanged at 13.5c. Speculative Buy rating.

Buy

$0.15

74.42%

Shaw and Partners retains a Buy rating for Bubs Australia with its target price decreased to $0.15 from $0.16 following an FY26 result that showed underlying improvement masked by one-off costs.

The company delivered 9.1% revenue growth to $111.9m, driven by a 24% increase in the core US business, despite overall profitability being weighed down by $7.9m in airfreight, regulatory, and tariff expenses.

After excluding temporary costs, underlying EBITDA improved to $5.3m from $1.2m in FY25, highlighting emerging operational leverage.

The analyst maintains a positive medium-term growth outlook based on strong demand and distribution expansion across more than 10,000 US stores.

Revenue growth and margin recovery are anticipated for FY27 as regulatory headwinds ease and the permanent FDA approval process advances.

FORECAST
Shaw and Partners forecasts a full year FY27 dividend of 0.00 cents and EPS of 0.30 cents.
Shaw and Partners forecasts a full year FY28 dividend of 0.20 cents and EPS of 0.70 cents.
