Bell Potter

Buy

$0.90

80.00%

Bell Potter describes Aeris Resources' FY26 result as excellent, with revenue and EBITDA beating forecasts by 4% and 5%, respectively, driven by higher copper production and stronger realised copper and gold prices.

Underlying NPAT of $127m was -16% below forecast due to higher D&A, while operating cash flow rose 111% y/y and free cash flow jumped 438% y/y despite around -$180m of capex.

Notably, the balance sheet strengthened considerably, ending FY26 with $164m of cash and no drawn bank debt, while investment at Tritton has provided visibility over 8-10 years of production at 27-30ktpa copper.

FY27 guidance is 37kt-46kt copper equivalent, including 22kt-27kt copper and 42kt-51koz gold, but higher expected costs reduce Bell Potter's FY27 EPS forecast by -18%, while FY28/FY29 EPS changes by up 2% and up 37%, respectively.

Bell Potter retains Buy and its $0.90 target price.

Canaccord Genuity

Buy

$0.70

40.00%

Canaccord Genuity maintains a Buy rating for Aeris Resources with a $0.70 target price following a robust FY26 result highlighted by a 22% year-on-year revenue increase to $703m.

The analyst notes the strong performance was underpinned by a 19% rise in copper production at the Tritton operation to 23kt, alongside higher gold prices offsetting a -10% production drop at Cracow.

Underlying NPAT surged 295% to $179m, beating the broker's expectations by 14% aided by a $51.5m income tax benefit, while operating cash flow more than doubled to $276m.

After completing an equity raise to retire a $50m loan facility, the company exited the period debt-free with $165m in cash, though FY27 guidance anticipates flat production and a step-up in growth capital expenditure to between -$170m and -$210m.

The broker considers the stock attractively valued at current levels and expects the accelerated investment in the Constellation deposit to begin contributing higher-grade ore by the March quarter of 2027.

FORECAST
Canaccord Genuity forecasts a full year FY27 dividend of 0.00 cents and EPS of 18.00 cents.
