ANZ Bank To Update Market On Friday

ANZ Bank (ANZ) will issue its regular investor update tomorrow morning, Friday, 2 March at approximately 8:30am following lodgement at the ASX, the bank’s PR department has announced. Most investment calendars are likely to mention the event for March 22, as do many research reports by securities analysts.

As usual, the ANZ update will provide an outline of trading conditions and business performance after the first four months of the 2007 financial year (1 October 2006 to 31 January 2007).

Later in the morning Chief Executive Officer, John McFarlane and Chief Financial Officer, Peter Marriott, will discuss matters with analysts and media during a conference call.
