Buy

$19.70

63.76%

Seek's FY27 cash-earnings guidance broadly matched UBS, but adjusted NPAT at the midpoint missed by -7% because of weaker Asian volumes, currency effects and higher depreciation.

UBS welcomes Seek lifting its medium-term A&NZ yield-growth target to at least 10% while lowering expected cost growth to mid-single digits.

Job-ad volumes remain the key swing factor: July A&NZ volumes fell an estimated -4.7% year-on-year, while UBS cuts its FY27 Asian volume forecast to -8% from -5%.

If volumes stabilise in FY28, UBS forecasts EBITDA growth of 17% and adjusted NPAT growth above 20%; disposal of Seek's Growth Fund assets could also support debt reduction and capital returns.

UBS maintains Buy and raises its price target by 4.8% to $19.70 from $18.80. Forecast adjusted EPS falls -9% in FY27, -9% in FY28 and -7% in FY29.

The report concludes the main risk is further employment-market weakness, while stronger pricing yields provide the principal upside.

FORECAST
UBS forecasts a full year FY27 dividend of 58.00 cents and EPS of 55.00 cents.
UBS forecasts a full year FY28 dividend of 74.00 cents and EPS of 69.00 cents.

Jarden

Buy

$23.25

93.27%

Jarden maintains a Buy rating for Seek with its target price reduced to $23.25 following modeling adjustments across regional recruitment indicators.

A proprietary tracker highlights persistent annual pricing strength across standard domestic ads, signaling potential upside risk to short-term entry yield guidance.

Revisions incorporate expanded baseline pricing power parameters, though this benefit is partially offset by a downgrade to financial year FY27 volume assumptions from flat to a contraction of -2.5%.

The localized volume reduction reflects macroeconomic indicators suggesting the Australian labor market is past its peak, the broker observes, pushing projected national unemployment to 4.8% by June 2027.

A forecast two-year normalized earnings per share compound annual growth rate of 21% through to FY29 underpins the positive structural investment thesis.

FORECAST
Jarden forecasts a full year FY27 dividend of 63.40 cents and EPS of 66.40 cents.
