Neutral

$6.75

9.76%

Regis Healthcare's FY26 EBITDA of $138m was around 2% ahead of UBS' expectations and above guidance, with better staff costs lifting the EBITDA margin to 10.2%, around 30bps ahead of forecasts, while cash flow remained strong.

The analyst sees medium-term earnings and cash flow support from the increasing proportion of RAD (refundable accommodation deposit)-paying residents, RAD retention and a 10% price increase across 70% of the portfolio.

This is expected to generate an additional $500m of RAD inflows.

Near-term risks remain around September's AN-ACC funding decision and the challenging transition to Higher Everyday Living Fees, where Regis is lagging peers in signing up new residents.

FY27 EPS forecasts are cut by -4% on higher D&A. Neutral rating retained. Target price slips to $6.75 from $7.00.

FORECAST
UBS forecasts a full year FY27 dividend of 22.00 cents and EPS of 22.00 cents.
UBS forecasts a full year FY28 dividend of 26.00 cents and EPS of 26.00 cents.

Jarden

Neutral

$7.50

21.95%

Jarden maintains its Neutral recommendation for Regis Healthcare with a target price of $7.50 following a solid FY26 earnings result featuring underlying EBITDA of $138m, which came in 2.2% ahead of consensus expectations.

Operating revenues reached $1,350.6m, up 16% compared to the prior corresponding period, while underlying net profit after tax totalled $55.6m.

Average occupancy remained robust at 95.8%, and net refundable accommodation deposit inflows reached $250.5m.

The broker's estimates indicate that incoming refundable accommodation deposit averages increased 20% year-on-year, with advertised room prices lifted by 10% across a large portion of the portfolio in July and August 2026.

The analyst highlights that enhanced net refundable accommodation deposit inflows from higher room pricing are expected to drive future retention revenue, supporting a positive operational outlook.
