The US earnings season ramps up next week, and includes reports from Tesla, Microsoft, Google, Meta and Amazon.

Locally, we’ll see the March quarter CPI numbers on Wednesday.

The PPI will follow on Friday, noting the market is closed on Thursday for Anzac Day. New Zealand will also be closed.

US data next week include new home sales, durable goods orders and, critically, the March PCE inflation numbers.

The Bank of Japan holds a policy meeting on Friday.

Flash estimates of global PMI surveys are due on Tuesday.

The local quarterly update season also ramps up next week.

Production reports are due from South32 ((S32)), Northern Star Resources ((NST)), Mineral Resources ((MIN)) and Fortescue Metals ((FMG)), just to name a few.

Updates are due from Brambles ((BXB)), Insignia Financial ((IFL)) and Atlas Arteria ((ALX)).

Woodside Energy ((WDS)) and Newmont Corp ((NEM)) hold AGMs. Newmont also reports quarterly earnings, as does ResMed ((RMD)).
