Downgrade to Equal-weight from Overweight

$1.00

17.65%

While PWR Holdings' FY26 profit came in towards the top of revised guidance, the sharp deterioration in 2H profitability caught Morgan Stanley significantly offside.

While the broker thinks 2H26 profit is not representative of PWR's true earnings power, the broker's visibility on the earnings trajectory is also low.

Morgan Stanley's previous thesis on self-help and the cycle has drifted amidst a sharp deterioration in the latter.

While valuation is compelling, being wrong on the previous call, the broker moves to Equal-weight from Overweight as PWR undertakes strategic repositioning.

Target falls to $1.00 from $2.10. Industry view: In Line.

Jarden

25/08/2026

2

Downgrade to Overweight from Buy

$1.45

70.59%

Jarden moves its recommendation for Peter Warren Automotive to Overweight from Buy with its target price reduced to $1.45 from $1.55 following an FY26 financial result featuring underlying profit before tax of $14.5m.

Operating revenues reached $2,489.3m, while operating EBITDA came in at $97.6m.

The analyst notes that profitability faced headwinds from declining average selling prices as the vehicle mix shifted towards cheaper Chinese models, alongside higher interest expenses and near-term cost pressures.

The broker's estimates indicate that portfolio improvement initiatives and cost control programs will support longer-term margin gains, despite near-term profit uncertainty.

FORECAST
Jarden forecasts a full year FY27 dividend of 3.20 cents and EPS of 4.70 cents.
Jarden forecasts a full year FY28 dividend of 7.60 cents and EPS of 11.00 cents.
