The company is included in ALL-ORDS

An additional news report on the recommendation, valuation, forecast and opinion changes and updates for ASX-listed equities.

In addition to The Australian Broker Call Report, which is published and updated daily (Mon-Fri), FNArena has now added The Australian Broker Call *Extra* Edition, featuring additional sources of research and insights on ASX-listed stocks, also enlarging the number of stocks that make up the FNArena universe.

One key difference is the *Extra* Edition will not be updated daily, but merely “regularly” depending on availability of suitable quality content. As such, the *Extra* Edition tries to build a bridge between daily updates via the Australian Broker Call Report and ad hoc news stories, that are not always timely for investors hungry for the next information update.

Investors using the *Extra* Edition as a source of input for their own share market research should thus take into account that information after publication may not be up to date, or yet awaiting another update by FNArena’s team of journalists.

Similar to The Australian Broker Call Report, this *Extra* Edition includes concise but limited reviews of research recently published by Stockbrokers and other experts, which should be considered as information concerning likely market behaviour rather than advice on the securities mentioned. Do not act on the contents of this Report without first reading the important information included at the end of this Report.

The Australian Broker Call *Extra* Edition is a summary that has been prepared independently of the sources identified. Readers will check the full text of the recommendations and consult a Licenced Advisor before making any investment decision.

Crude Oil – Overnight Price: $0.91

Jarden rates ((BPT)) as Underweight (4) –

Jarden maintains an Underweight rating for Beach Energy with its target price reduced to $0.76 from $0.79 following a June quarter operational update impacted by ongoing teething issues at the Waitsia gas project.

An upward adjustment to the condensate conversion factor enabled the group to deliver production at the lower end of revised guidance.

Net debt performance beat expectations due to delayed restoration expenditure alongside restructured joint venture LNG balancing arrangements with Mitsui.

Scheduled maintenance at Waitsia during September delays evaluation of sustained nameplate production capacity until the December quarter.

The analyst expects an upcoming capital management framework review in August to pivot priority away from dividend distributions towards growth funding.

CWY    CLEANAWAY WASTE MANAGEMENT LIMITED

Industrial Sector Contractors & Engineers – Overnight Price: $2.36

Jarden rates ((CWY)) as Buy (1) –

Jarden maintains a Buy rating for Cleanaway Waste Management with its target price increased to $3.25 from $3.10 following updated FY26 underlying EBIT guidance of $470m.

The revised underlying EBIT guidance falls at the mid-point of the company’s $460m to $480m target range provided in April and sits slightly above market consensus forecasts of $467m.

While the updated operational guidance largely de-risks FY26 earnings expectations, the analyst notes ongoing investor focus surrounding overall earnings quality and the utilisation of non-recurring adjustments.

Commentary highlights demonstrating sustained improvement in free cash flow generation remains a critical secondary focus area for market participants.

Rolling forward the valuation model underpins the upgraded price target.

Moelis maintains its Buy rating for Fineos Corp with its target price unchanged at $3.20.

First-half free cash flow reached EUR9.9m, while full-year revenue guidance was reaffirmed between EUR147m and EUR152m.

Foreign exchange headwinds in the first half are expected to ease in the second half of 2026, assuming exchange rate stability.

The analyst considers recent share price weakness inconsistent with solid strategic progress, highlighting expanding recurring subscription revenues and key software implementations.

Modest downward adjustments were made to FY26 and FY27 earnings estimates due to higher capitalised R&D expenses and working capital adjustments.

Investment bond net inflows reached $340.6m while managed accounts delivered total net flows of $3.5bn, taking closing funds under management across managed accounts to $40.5bn.

Sales exit momentum and strengthening adviser activity point towards a positive growth inflection into FY27.

Favourable legislative policy shifts, including Division 296, are expected to provide long-term structural tailwinds for the investment bond offering.

The analyst incorporates conservative FY27 margin expectations to account for group cost annualisation and incremental growth investments.

This report was published on July 23, 2026.

HUB    HUB24 LIMITED

Wealth Management & Investments – Overnight Price: $81.36

Jarden rates ((HUB)) as Buy (1) –

Jarden maintains a Buy rating for Hub24 with its target price increased to $106.50 from $105.80 following fourth-quarter net inflows exceeding initial market expectations despite a soft read-through across industry peers.

Relative flow resilience remains underpinned by structural expansion in superannuation, driven by mandated contributions and competitive roll-overs where superannuation accounts for over 60% of total funds under administration.

Platform market share expanded to 9.9% from 8.6%, leaving the company well positioned to benefit from ongoing structural financial advice tailwinds, the report concludes.

Minor positive earnings revisions prompt the upward revision to the target price.

The analyst emphasises strong gearing towards compulsory superannuation contribution growth as a key driver of sustained market share gains.

Building Products & Services – Overnight Price: $36.92

Jarden rates ((JHX)) as Downgrade to Neutral from Overweight (3) –

Jarden downgrades James Hardie Industries from Overweight to Neutral with its target price increased to $37.60 from $34.20 following a preliminary first-quarter release confirming a strong start to the fiscal year.

Adjusted EBITDA outperformed consensus by 9%, led by Siding and Trim alongside higher collective contributions from APAC, EMEA, and Corporate segments.

The analyst lifts the FY27 EBITDA forecast by 5% to $1.56bn and increases adjusted EPS by 5%, placing estimates above management guidance ranges.

FY28 and FY29 EPS forecasts are reduced by -2% to reflect downside risks to new US construction and higher financing costs.

Fair valuation against historical price-to-earnings averages underpins the rating downgrade to Neutral.

Jarden rates ((KAR)) as Buy (1) –

Jarden maintains a Buy rating for Karoon Energy with its target price increased to $2.00 from $1.90 following an uneventful quarterly report featuring production of 1.08 mmboe.

Strong oil price realisations drove a revenue beat relative to consensus, supported by robust physical oil demand.

All Bauna wells are back online, and the A1 sidetrack is expected to contribute to a stronger second-half production and free cash flow story.

The analyst notes the company represents an effective play on higher oil prices, benefiting from lower production costs and strong leverage to petroleum market movements.

Net debt projections expanded to between NZ$63m and NZ$66m, reflecting a NZ$12m year-on-year increase driven by working capital requirements despite a recent equity raise.

Canaccord Genuity rates ((LYC)) as Buy (1) –

Canaccord Genuity maintains a Buy rating for Lynas Rare Earths with its target price lowered to $21.00 from $22.00 following the June quarter operational report.

Quarterly NdPr production reached 1.9kt due to temporary ore feed variability and new crusher installations, while higher realised pricing of $98/kg helped offset lower total rare earth oxide sales volumes of 2.9kt.

Capital expenditure for expanded heavy rare earth separation capacity increased to $294m from $180m, driven by tighter customer product specifications and processing equipment supply constraints outside China.

Management firmed up a downstream magnet manufacturing partnership with JS Link involving a $50m equity investment and a long-term rare earth oxide supply arrangement through 2038.

Management set FY27 production guidance of 5.1Mlb to 5.6Mlb at an operating cost of US$44/lb to US$48/lb, aligning with consensus expectations.

Progress at Patterson Lake South remains encouraging following a binding term sheet with the Birch Narrows Dene Nation, sufficiency status for the Construction Licence application, and a high-grade discovery at Atlas.

The analyst considers recent share price weakness below $10.00 an excellent buying opportunity to gain exposure to a quality uranium producer in its strongest position since recapitalising in 2021.

PEN    PENINSULA ENERGY LIMITED

Uranium – Overnight Price: $0.24

Canaccord Genuity rates ((PEN)) as Speculative Buy (1) –

Canaccord Genuity maintains a Speculative Buy rating for Peninsula Energy with its target price lowered to $0.80 from $0.90 following the withdrawal of 2026 production guidance.

The analyst highlights that persistent wellfield gassing issues at Mine Unit 4 within the Lance uranium project reflect a worse-than-anticipated operational outcome, prompting further downgrades to 2026 and 2027 production estimates.

Operations are being reprioritised away from the structurally flawed Mine Unit 1 and Mine Unit 3 towards Mine Unit 4, where the execution of optimisations such as hydrogen peroxide management and flow monitoring remains critical to underwriting future production profiles.

Despite near-term challenges and a forecast cash burn of -US$4m to -US$5m per month, net cash stands at US$47.1m, and the asset’s scale and uncontracted status preserve substantial latent value within a strategically supportive US domestic supply environment, commentary concludes.

This report was published on July 23, 2026.

Target price is $0.80 Current Price is $0.24 Difference: $0.555
If PEN meets the Canaccord Genuity target it will return approximately 227% (excluding dividends, fees and charges).

Shaw and Partners rates ((PEN)) as Buy (1) –

Shaw and Partners retains a Buy rating for Peninsula Energy with its target price reduced to $0.81 from $1.93 following the withdrawal of 2026 uranium production guidance at the Lance project.

Early commissioning delays involving precipitation circuit agitators and pipeline gas build-up interrupted short-term production, though 2027 output expectations of 500klb to 600klb remain intact.

Applying a -50% discount to the discounted cash flow model captures temporary operational uncertainty whilst the company resolves wellfield flow constraints at Mine Unit 4.

Balance sheet liquidity remains strong, supported by US$47.1m in cash alongside a US$56m equity and convertible debt funding package.

The analyst considers current share price weakness an attractive entry point to acquire a highly strategic US domestic uranium asset trading at a heavy discount to North American peers.

This report was published on July 24, 2026.

Target price is $0.81 Current Price is $0.24 Difference: $0.565

Jarden rates ((SFR)) as Underweight (4) –

Jarden maintains an Underweight rating for Sandfire Resources with a $15.50 target price following the release of the June quarter disclosure and initial FY27 operational guidance.

FY27 copper-equivalent production guidance is established between 150kt and 166kt, accompanied by directionally higher cost assumptions that prompt modest opex increases.

FY26 financial results delivered a solid beat, with unaudited EBITDA reaching US$867m and net cash improving to US$353m on robust cash conversion and working capital releases.

The final FY26 dividend is forecast to lift by 50% to 15.0c per share.

The analyst notes the stock is trading at a premium to valuation, prompting the retention of an Underweight stance whilst remaining alert to more attractive entry points.

SHV    SELECT HARVESTS LIMITED

Agriculture – Overnight Price: $4.41

Jarden rates ((SHV)) as Upgrade to Overweight from Neutral (2) –

Jarden upgrades its rating for Select Harvests to Overweight from Neutral with its target price increased to $4.70 from $4.10, citing an improving earnings outlook.

Narrowing consensus forecast gaps and a resumed uptrend in almond prices support the rating change, while the share price has remained broadly flat despite the execution of a 1% stock buyback under a broader 10% buyback program.

Following a 69% EPS growth rebound in FY26, the analyst projects further EPS growth of 8% in FY27.

Holding spot almond prices in FY27 presents an estimated 17% upside risk to EPS forecasts, all else equal.

Valuation is seen as undemanding with shares trading at 11x one-year forward P/E, in line with book value and well below an estimated net asset market value of $5.38 per share.

SKC    SKYCITY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP LIMITED

Gaming – Overnight Price: $0.52

Jarden rates ((SKC)) as Overweight (2) –

Jarden maintains an Overweight rating for SkyCity Entertainment with a NZ$0.85 target price following the execution of a non-binding heads of agreement for the sale of The Grand Hotel.

Net proceeds from the transaction are estimated between NZ$180m and NZ$200m based on recent Auckland commercial property benchmarks.

Capital proceeds will be directed toward debt reduction to enhance balance sheet flexibility amid prevailing market conditions.

Finalising the sale alongside recent divestments of the 99 Albert Street office building and Victoria Street investment properties positions the company ahead of its asset sales target of approximately NZ$200m.

The analyst views ongoing asset monetisation momentum as a key driver of structural balance sheet de-risking.

STN    SATURN METALS LIMITED

Gold & Silver – Overnight Price: $0.45

Canaccord Genuity rates ((STN)) as Buy (1) –

Canaccord Genuity maintains a Speculative Buy rating for Saturn Metals with a $0.95 target price following the grant of Mining Lease M31/496 for the Apollo Hill gold project in Western Australia.

The 11,700ha mining lease secures key land tenure to support planned infrastructure and potential future expansions ahead of a definitive feasibility study due later in 2026.

The permitting milestone follows an executed Native Title agreement alongside a 26% mineral resource upgrade to 174Mt at 0.51g/t gold for 2.83Moz, with Measured and Indicated categories comprising 77% of the inventory.

Base case modelling projects a 14-year open-pit heap leach operation processing 10Mtpa to recover 1.17Moz at an all-in sustaining cost of $3,355/oz on initial capital expenditure of $500m.

The analyst notes the secured tenure and enhanced resource confidence substantially de-risk the development pathway ahead of a final investment decision expected within six to nine months.

This report was published on July 22, 2026.

STO    SANTOS LIMITED

NatGas – Overnight Price: $7.97

Jarden rates ((STO)) as Overweight (2) –

Jarden maintains an Overweight rating for Santos with its target price increased to $7.90 from $7.65 following the June quarter operational report.

The quarter featured additional commissioning challenges, particularly at Barossa, which combined with liquefied natural gas cargo timing to drive a negative free cash flow print of -US$5m.

Despite these near-term hurdles, the analyst anticipates a sharp operational turnaround and higher sustained free cash flow generation exceeding US$1.3bn in the second half of 2026, driven by the ongoing ramp-up of Barossa and Pikka.

This report was published on July 24, 2026.

SYR    SYRAH RESOURCES LIMITED

New Battery Elements – Overnight Price: $0.11

Jarden rates ((SYR)) as Underweight (4) –

Jarden maintains an Underweight rating for Syrah Resources with an unchanged target price of $0.10 following a “very weak” operational quarter at the Balama project.

Production fell to 2kt as the operation ran in campaign mode only, whilst graphite sales of 6.5kt were supported by a 5kt drawdown in finished product inventory.

2026 Balama production guidance was revised downward to between 60kt and 80kt amid softer ex-China natural graphite demand and new supply competition from Mozambique.

The analyst reduces 2026 and 2027 Balama production forecasts and lowers EBITDA estimates accordingly.

Unrestricted cash closed at $31m, bolstered by net proceeds from a recent equity raising, whilst commercial active anode material sales from Vidalia remain targeted for the second half of 2026.

TAH    TABCORP HOLDINGS LIMITED

Gaming – Overnight Price: $0.88

Jarden rates ((TAH)) as Overweight (2) –

Jarden maintains an Overweight rating for Tabcorp Holdings with a $1.05 target price ahead of the company’s FY26 financial results announcement.

The analyst lifts near-term EPS estimates by 7%-10%, driven by higher projected group revenue and EBITDA growth of 1% and 7% year-on-year from stabilising racing trends and a reset cost base.

Retail monetisation is progressing constructively despite a net -7% reduction in venue count foregoing -$38m of gross revenue, as terminal-fee streams of $50m and digital in-venue turnover provide offsets.

Digital active user growth is expected to return in the second half of FY26, although impact from the FIFA World Cup remains muted given the racing-skewed book.

Commentary suggests management’s announced nationalisation of three tote pools offers potential execution upside, while current model estimates omit incremental tote or retail-model benefits.

TCG    TURACO GOLD LIMITED

Gold & Silver – Overnight Price: $0.57

Canaccord Genuity rates ((TCG)) as Speculative Buy (1) –

Canaccord Genuity maintains a Speculative Buy rating for Turaco Gold with a $1.35 target price following encouraging deep drilling results beneath the Woulo Woulo deposit at the Afema gold project in Cote d’Ivoire.

Drilling intersected mineralisation 250m below previous testing and 600m below surface, highlighted by a standout intercept of 100m at 1.06g/t gold from 495m featuring higher-grade intervals up to 4m at 6.94g/t gold.

The findings follow a pre-feasibility study outlining a maiden Ore Reserve of 1.9Moz and a 2.3Moz mine plan supporting average gold production of 196kozpa over a 10-year mine life.

The analyst notes the confirmation of broad mineralisation well beneath the current pit shell creates a pathway for resource growth ahead of the definitive feasibility study expected in mid-2027.

Higher-grade intersections at depth support potential evaluation of an expanded open pit or a future underground development scenario to enhance overall project economics.

This report was published on July 23, 2026.
