Morgan Stanley

Overweight

$26.00

43.49%

Morgan Stanley sees signs of an earnings recovery at ARB Corporation despite a still-challenging consumer backdrop, with 2H26 NPAT returning to 8% y/y growth.

FY26 underlying NPAT beat consensus by 5%, while EBITDA was 2.5% ahead, although sales fell -4% y/y and were -3% below expectations.

Australian Aftermarket sales declined -3%, but the analyst points to improving FY27 vehicle supply and a solid order book, while US growth remained strong at 13.5% in US dollar terms.

The broker is also positive on ARB's US expansion, including strong growth through 4 Wheel Parts and the store-in-store rollout, which is expected to expand from eight stores in FY26 to 22 in 2026 and eventually all 47 locations.

Overweight. Target lowered to $26 from $28. Industry view: In-Line.

FORECAST
Morgan Stanley forecasts a full year FY27 EPS of 115.00 cents.
Morgan Stanley forecasts a full year FY28 EPS of 128.00 cents.

Jarden

Neutral

$21.60

19.21%

Jarden maintains its Neutral rating for ARB Corp with its target price increased to $21.60 from $20.55 following a better-than-feared FY26 result with underlying profit before tax coming in 3% ahead of consensus.

Operational growth slowed most notably in the export segment which missed second-half expectations by 10%, while United States revenue growth flattened and Asia/New Zealand and Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions experienced double-digit negative growth.

The broker's estimates indicate that material profit growth is not expected in FY27, with forecasted earnings per share growth at 3% year-on-year.

The analyst highlights that margin resilience provides comfort regarding downside scenarios, though the current valuation trading on 19x forward price-to-earnings remains uncompelling.
