FYI | Apr 05 2006
Every time life throws up a challenge there must be a very good reason behind it. Maybe one still has to learn something.
That’s the sort of universal wisdom I am drawing on these days, and sharing with the rest of the team, for life has thrown another challenge at our feet.
And so we find ourselves adjusting a website, answering emails telling us the login doesn’t work and coping with the insecurity again of will people find us? Will they like our stories? What happens if they don’t read the email?
Life isn’t always easy, nor is it by definition just. But one has to move on. And that’s exactly what we have done.
Welcome to FN Arena News.
It is here that Rob, Greg and Chris (in no particular order) are sharing my dream of building that one financial website that captures all your wishes and needs.
What you are experiencing in these relatively early stage is merely the framework from upon which we will start adding building stone after building stone as time passes by.
FN Arena News will be different. Different from what you have all seen here and there. We hope you will agree that when the work is finished (if ever!) it will be better as well.
There is a clear vision behind what we have started to build. As I responded to one of our readers’ emails today: we are aiming at a all-in-one, one-for-all service.
Of course, there’s no such thing as one service that is suited to everyone. But we reckon that if we achieve what we have in the back of our minds, many among you will be very pleased with what they will find in their emails and on our website. Day after day after day.
I just came to realise, maybe our biggest challenge is still in front of us.
Ah well. Negativity hasn’t won one single war. That’s one of those other wisdoms I tend to use a lot these days.
We hope you all like our efforts, we’ve worked hard to achieve them.
If you like what you’ve seen so far, please don’t keep it to yourself, tell your friends about it.
In the end, consumers in the US got their Classic Coke back by stamping their feet. This may be your chance to get that service you always wanted.
We very much like your feedback. Please send all emails to info@fnarena.com
Till next week! (As far as this column goes)
