Anything goes these days, as long as it pushes up share prices. One of the rumours going around in today’s market is that Wesfarmers (WES) missed out on acquiring Dyno Nobel (DXL) "pre-float" from Macquarie Bank (MBL).
Of course, Wesfarmers hasn’t given up and is now paying close attention to what’s happening with the recently listed Dyno Nobel share price, or so goes the rumour.
Dyno Nobel are in line with the rest of the market in retreat on Monday, albeit only a little. The shares are trading at around $2.66.
Wesfarmers shares are slightly up at around $36.50.
