The Fed meets tomorrow night but is not expected to do anything. US retail sales are out on Wednesday night and industrial production and capacity utilisation on Friday night.
RBA governor Stevens will speak in Melbourne tomorrow, and NAB will release its November business survey. Wednesday sees consumer sentiment for December, which is expected to bounce back from last month’s 10% rate hike-induced drop. Thursday provides third quarter dwelling starts.
Westpac (WBC) will hold its AGM on Thursday and National Bank (NAB) on Friday.
Of most importance is the start of the third Ashes test in Perth on Thursday. Vale Damien Martyn.
