US Equities Should Now Establish Direction

FYI | Sep 03 2012

FNArena has added another video to its Investors Education section on the website. This week Jerry Simmons looks at the US equity markets, Chinese equities, the EURAUD and natural gas.

Jerry notes the S&P 500 daily has traded in a tight range for some time while the S&P weekly has hit the low for last week. There is a chance of two consecutive Diojis and last time that happened range expansion and an openX closeX followed. With central bank activity in focus, this week should provide some direction.

The Russell 2000 is providing similar signals and a very powerful HPPD pattern has emerged for the Nasdaq. Chinese equities meanwhile remain very bearish unless the most recent high can be taken out.

Signs are very bullish for the EURAUD (ie stronger euro) given a month of higher highs and higher lows.

Natural gas has been in a "brutal" bear market and may be primed for a reversal.
