It was always a question of "when", not so much of "whether", explained FNArena Editor Rudi Filapek-Vandyck to host Peter Switzer on Thursday last week.

From the election onwards late last year, investors were all too prepared to ignore any negatives and focus solely on the future positives from the Trump Presidency. This month, however, US investors have woken up to the fact the US President is a liability first, and maybe an asset later. This explains why share prices have swiftly retreated.
