A special mentioning goes out to hotel operator Thakral ((THG)) whose share price once again appeared ready to test boundaries at consensus price target until RBS lifted its target by some 20% earlier this week. Highlighting the example of Thakral is highlighting the risks of dealing with consensus targets that are only made up from one or two stockbrokers input.

As has been the case this past week, stocks continue switching between just below consensus target and above target, and back, and again. Most of these stocks are the usual mining services providers which have been mentioned before in this daily update, as well as dividend yield supported infrastructure and property trusts.

One newcomer today that does not belong to either of these two groups is Domino's Pizza ((DMP)), no doubt on the radar because of its perceived relatively defensive revenue stream. As the chart shows, the consensus target might have risen since the last time the shares were rejected at consensus target, the shares are now approaching that same price level that proved too high on at least two previous occasions. Probably safe to assume the going will get tougher from here on.
