A Blow Off Top For Gold?

FYI | Aug 18 2011

FNArena has added another video to its Investors Education section on the website. In this educational video, ATW's Jerry Simmons explains why we could be witnessing the end of some key trends, including a potential blow off top in the making for gold.

Simmons has used his latest educational video to issue a few warnings. One is that the technical structures for US equities seem rather wobbly with the S&P500 facing a "veritable brick wall" in the 1220-1250 zone. The suggestion is the index might be building a base which formation can take months.

More alarming seems Simmons' analysis of gold which he observes "has gone parabolic". Key price levels are US$1771 and US$1720, explains Simmons. If these levels are broken, gold would be set for a significant pull back, one that will see US$1430/oz come into focus "at a minimum", according to his technical analysis. Simmons says gold could fall as low as US$1250/oz under such a scenario.

Also, crude oil might have completed a five wave move.
