FNArena Editor Rudi Filapek-Vandyck appeared on Switzer TV last Thursday to chat with stand-in host James Daggar-Nickson about the ups and down for commodities and for resources stocks in the Australian share market and elsewhere. Australian investors may not realise it, but despite the rather disappointing investment returns in the years past, both BHP Billiton (BHP)) and Rio Tinto ((RIO)) remain two of the best performing resources stocks in the world, and for very specific reasons.
It remains the Editor's long-standing view that growth from China is now playing second fiddle to the supply catch-up, with serious consequences.
