Tonight sees the last US jobs report before the September Fed meeting. While the market rates a hike this time as a very low possibility, December is still on the cards.

Next week sees the release of Australia’s June quarter GDP. Leading into the release we’ll see numbers for company profits and inventories and the current account, including the terms of trade.

Local monthly releases next week include job ads, retail sales, trade and housing finance. The RBA will meet on Tuesday and nothing remarkable will happen.

The ECB will meet on Thursday. That possibly could be a different story.

Wall Street is closed on Monday for the Labor Day Long weekend. Next week releases include the services PMI, factory orders, trade and the Fed Beige Book.

On the local stock front, CSR ((CSR)) will host an investor day next week, Pilbara Minerals ((PLS)) will release its earnings result and the ex-dividends begin to reach flood proportions.
