FNArena Editor Rudi Filapek-Vandyck appeared on Switzer TV on Thursday to explain the energy sector in Australia is going through significant changes. The next few years will see a profound transformation for the large cap stocks on the Australian Stock Exchange, he explained to host Peter Switzer.

In line with international practice, Australian energy stocks stand to offer investors more dividends and capital management, but not without risks, he warns. In addition, there's a remarkable schism opening up between AGL Energy ((AGK)) and Origin Energy ((ORG)) and he wonders whether investors should now zoom in on comparisons between Santos ((STO)) and Origin since both share prices are around the same price level?
