Banks falling out of favour with investors since late April is actually a positive development, explained FNArena editor Rudi Filapek-Vandyck to Marty Switzer last Thursday. On his observation, this has diverted investor attention back to solid growth stories among industrials.
With the banks' outlook continuing to be impacted by an emerging bad news cycle, the FNArena editor believes the outlook for small and medium cap growth stories continues to look favourable, on the premise that weakness in the top layer of the share market does not translate into a genuine risk-off period.
